Oleksandr Pryimak's series of works "CHILDREN" is a metaphorical look into the minds of children living through war.

Their present is pain and fear. Their memories are what has no place in a happy childhood. Their desire is to erase from their lives everything that adults brought them and to paint a new yesterday, today, tomorrow on a blank canvas.

The author's works are imbued with deep symbolism: an eraser as a symbol of naive children's desire to correct mistakes; white canvases covered with blood as a sign of children's lives cut short and black lines as an image of memories so terrible that it is impossible to erase them.

Maybe the eraser will still clean the canvases of children's lives from blood and death?
