Artist, Art Curator
What does a person look like in a state of mental collapse? How are their thoughts visualized? Is it possible to perceive beauty even in the darkest moments of existence?These questions form the basis of a multi-year exploration by artist Aleksandr Priymak, resulting in the Immortal collection. Developed over three years, the project represents an artistic analysis of the inner processes of the human psyche during times of crisis.
Each piece in Immortal is based on the artist’s long-term self-observation and reflection on his own mental state. Priymak transforms individual experience into research material, translating it into artistic form. Thus, the collection can be interpreted not only as an aesthetic project but also as an attempt to visualize psychological processes that usually remain hidden from view.The public premiere of the collection took place in November 2022 in New York, at Web3 NYC Gallery, where it was presented as part of a broader discussion on the intersection of art, digital technologies, and the psychology of perception.
The Dual-Galar Energy collection by Oleksandr Priymak is based on the author’s theoretical concept that all events in the universe already exist within a vast structure of “cubes,” each representing a possible moment or life scenario.This idea interprets dreams as fragments from these alternative realities, offering knowledge and experience beyond ordinary perception.By accessing these fragments, a person can accelerate their personal development, saving time otherwise spent on traditional learning and using it instead for deeper self-discovery.
A central aspect of the collection is the vision of building a new civilization grounded in knowledge retrieved through this process. According to Priymak, this civilization must rest upon three essential pillars:· Psychology, to understand oneself and establish healthy relations with society;
· Philosophy, to expand thinking and overcome imposed limitations;
· Art, as the ultimate form of self-expression and the transmission of ideas.Through its abstract visual language, the Dual-Galar Energy collection not only explores metaphysical ideas but also proposes a cultural model for human growth — one where darkness, dreams, and alternative realities become the foundation for light, balance, and a renewed humanity.
Using a variety of artistic techniques including 3D graphics, classical and digital sculpture, and video performance, Ukrainian artist Alexander Pryimak creates works that evolve a new vector in the interaction of art, psychology and philosophy.The aesthetic codes of these three directions allow the artist to create an effective interaction with his audience.The purpose of such interaction is to create a new, evolutionary paradigm, which includes mental balance, unity of external and internal energies, freedom of thought and harmony in interpersonal relationships.According to Alexander, it is these values in the development of the individual that will become the foundation for the creation of a new civilization, the worldview of which excludes aggression, militancy, looting, corruption and other negative manifestations.
